The Supervisor Academy is a compilation of leadership competencies identified in a statewide needs analysis as being critical to success on the job and performed most frequently as a supervisor. There are 13 modules and a final project that must be completed to meet the requirements of ARS 41-763 (8).

Supervisors need to create high performing work teams in order to provide effective and efficient processes to properly serve the public. The Advanced Supervisor Certificate Program is a series of college level courses that focus on giving supervisors all the tools necessary to succeed. The Advanced Supervisor Certificate Program provides research-based information, best practices, and skill exercises. The program has two blocks – The Continuous Improvement Block and The Advanced Leadership Block.
